Kim Komando’s team has more on this vehicle GPS ordeal

While I posted the article yesterday we’re going to use, I now fully understand what is happening. The models which are talked about in yesterday’s blog post left me some questions.

While both articles mention the model and manufacturer, this one does answer the fact that it is not part of the GPS system that gets you from place to place. These systems are for operators to track the vehicle to make sure it is going where they’re told to go.

While Komando’s staff is recomending that people stop using these things, its probably harder to do than you think, as Komando.com indicates that these things are installed by professionals.

This is going to get interesting as I prepare for today’s article release and next week’s topic. Use this inexpensive GPS tracker? It has a dangerous security bug is the article title of Komando’s article and between these, maybe this will make more sense.
