So the latest news is that apparently Elon Musk baught Twitter. I think I heard it from Kim herself either through the daily minute podcast or the Friday taping of the show.
Apparently, he wants to call this X, what that is, we don’t know, but Kim’s article states that it could be like China’s WeChat.
WeChat is reportedly an app in China that allows you to send and receive messages, look at timelines, book appointments at places and possibly more.
While I’ve used Twitter during the years, I’m not necessarily big on it, I like the idea, and I like sharing information like this. But I don’t live on social media, and an app like wechat would supposedly make our lives easier, but who then has our data? That’s the question, at leas right now, since an app like wechat allows you to do basicly everything.
Also, apparently, it could make the x app available in 3-5 years sooner.
