With about less than a week to go, Valentines scams may haunt you

With less than a week to go, Valentines is pretty much mid week this year. It’s actually next Tuesday and that’s just days away. If you have someone, have you ordered anything this year?

According to komando staff, there are 4 different types of scams that might attract you. I like the emails I’ve been getting claiming to be the subject of the perfect romantic rose bear.

Again, it is like the book email I talked about through this blog post. This one has a similar theme. It comes from some strange domain, even links to it. Would you buy your romantic bear from a site not linked here called http://www.welcomesuggest.shop with a long string of characters after the slash?

If my hunch is correct, this site is going to redirect you elsewhere after it confirms if you’re human by a yes or no prompt.

If you want flowers or chocolate, you better order now. It may still get there by Tuesday, but you better hurry! Two sites that are reputable include pro flowers or 1-800-flowers. I would suggest you search them out and see what they have if this is your thing.

Suffice it to say, this is the first year I’ve seen Valentines themed spam and scams. While I didn’t link the superbowl scams over to EMHS, I may link this article titled even though the updates will go in to effect next Wednesday. I suspect that these scams will be around even after the fact. Unlike the Superbowl, which is this coming Sunday, I can push this article up in time there but not make it known till after the fact.

Please stay safe, please stay well, and learn what to spot in these headings within this article.
