So I read this article Worried about a link? Use this test before you click it and I went to the web site checkshorturl.com. Chrome popped up a dialogue I couldn’t read and said allow to, and firefox just loads. But Jaws seems to be reading in a diferent language.
I braught this up to Kim’s attention, hopefully she’ll get back to me. I don’t know what language, so if anyone gets it to work, its supposed to tell you if the url is safe or not and is another tool in the toolbox.
NVDA gives this to me in English, so don’t know if this is a Jaws thing or not. Will have to play with this more before I choose to put it on EMHS. If people have success, let me know.
