This is probably the first time I’ve heard of popups on TV’S.
The article Scammers are using your TV against you to get you to pay up goes in to details on how these popups on your TV might be a scam. They’ll get you to hand over personal info by claiming you owe money for fees for your streaming services. Its recommended to check your subscriptions with the providers you are currently paying for. Calling the number or clicking the links can in fact infect your TV with malware.
Maybe its a great idea that I don’t have a TV, but there have been times I’ve thought about a tv.
Has anyone seen this before? Thoughts are welcome.
