Keypass has a bug, will get fixed

Key

KeyPass, a password manager, has a vulnerability which will be fixed in an upcoming release.

They’re calling this an exploit in the article, but it can be used in either opportunity.

Vulnerabilities are normal, but this one hurts. This is because if the vulnerability is successful, it can extract the master password of the account holder because it shows it in plain text.

You can’t blame Keypass, this could happen to anyone. Remember Lastpass’s problems? Yes, it happened to them and they’re the more well known.

However, with everyone knowing about it and a fix coming if it hasn’t arrived already, you as a KeyPass subscriber can be just as more protected when the fix is out there.

The article is titled KeePass exploit helps retrieve cleartext master password, fix coming soon and if you are a customer of theirs, please feel free to take a read of this article and make sure that you are prepared for the update.

Thanks so much for reading!
