Driving from one pole to another in an electric car?

While some of this trip needed a flight, the majority was done by car. No, it wasn’t a Tesla that they used, it was a Nissan. car whose name is in the article.

This is the first of oits kind whether gas powered or electric, says the very interesting Washington Post article I spotted via Mastodon.

The article is titled They drove from the Arctic to the South Pole — in an electric car.

Where would Tesla come in on this and what about other electric cars? If any other car does this, I’d love to see what the results are.
