E-sim is not as safe as you think

This time, we’re going to learn why E-Sim is not as safe as you think.

While the traditional Sim card on a phone could have problems with actors social engineering an employee or having an insider assist, E-Sim works differently.

One of my contacts, Michael, recently switched to E-Sim and explained how it works.

This article from Bleeping Computer does too, and goes in to detail on how an attacker can just simply take over the account by getting an E-Sim card, getting the company to switch the number to an E-Sim, they scan the QR code as they have the device, and now your number is theirs.

This means that they now have access to everything including any messenger accounts or anything else they may want.
