Yes folks, I’m still 5 days behind on Mastodon, but I’m trying to find things that might be of value.
This particular one that Tim boosted from PC Magazine caught my attention.
This network has Blasted Twitter, now known as X for its constant issues including accessibility issues, free speech, the way it handles itself, and other Elon Musk stuff we feel is just outright out there.
If the non-profit can speak out about what’s going on there, anyone can. With this blog, we’ve linked to the sources we’ve read when it comes to our position.
I could write my own opinions without article backup, but one of my best writings came out when I linked to other sources.
So, Mr. Musk, why don’t you have anything to say about shutting out a community who is apparently stuck using one app on a telephone which is accessible and full of advertising? Why did you not come out and answer questions about why you shut out this community when a person who sent a letter to the company got no response? This was a senator of the state, for goodness sakes.
You had an ample time to answer those questions, and you failed.
But that’s not all that Massachusetts did. They settled with Equifax on their issues too. Indiana was also involved in their own case.
So don’t think that you’re the only one that seems to have issues here, I’m just pointing out that you’re not the only one.
Your service has sucked, apparently Brian Krebs tooted that you can’t even direct message now unless you pay, which means the service is just becoming a shithole.
I’m actually surprised that its still up, seeing all the bad publicity its gotten since the buyout.
While the article we link to dealing with Massachusetts, its been a year and we’ve heard nothing about the accessibility team being reinstated or the ability for us disabled to use third-party apps or closed captioning coming back.
Like I said, I’m surprised the thing is still up. I’m leaving things alone until it just crashes and dies its long awaited death.
Today’s late article is titled Judge Tosses Elon Musk’s Lawsuit Against Nonprofit, Citing Free Speech.
More people might get sued now, but I’m linking to all my stuff if something that sparked my opinion deserved it.
We’ll be in touch!
