If this settlement goes through, Google will be forced to remove millions of datapoints before December 2023 when people who used Incognito mode thinking their data was safe from prying eyes.
Google of course thought the lawsuit was unfair, but as of now, the courts haven’t signed off on the agreement. This will probably happen in july of this year.
