Black Suit, Conti, Royal Ransomware groups

I blogged about CDK yesterday, although that article is days old. The Cyberwire reported what we’re going to talk about today and I found the Bleeping Computer article titled Suit ransomware attack?

Black Suit is the newest name this syndicate is using, and we know just by the Conti name that this group is very dangerous.

As you’ve probably read within the recent articles, several car dealerships have had to change their operations because of the failure of the sofware as a service offering.

I know that I use Freshbooks which does invoicing, as well as other expense related stuff, as well as inventory if you sell things.

I know that with Freshbooks, we have to log in to an account online, I’m not sure about CDK.

I’m sure this will continue to be a developing story and we’ll try to keep our eyes and ears on it.
