Are your kids being safe on social media? A school district is teaching the dos and don’ts of social media

This is a very welcome story that I saw on Twitter thanks to the account EChatter. Parkway schools educate parents on social media engagement talks about how the school hosted a workshop on social media. This is a definite welcome sign. We need to teach about the dos and don’ts of social media. For example, I don’t share much location data. I don’t threaten anyone on social media. The scholl district is proposing anywhere from a 30 day suspension to a year, depending on the nature of the offense. I’m definitely wanting to share this article, in hopes that we can educate.
