I read this article yesterday which I’m using as the title of this blog post. Its entitled Czech cyber officials warn of serious threat to health care sector and it was very well done.
It talks about something that is happening in that part of the world, yet we need to know about this as it could eventually happen to us.
Cybersecurity authorities in the Czech Republic on Thursday warned the public about the threat of an “extensive campaign of cyberattacks” on IT systems and health care facilities that could be carried out in the coming days.
The Czech government’s main cybersecurity agency said a recent spearphishing campaign could indicate that “the preparatory phase of the attacks is already in progress.”
If the opening paragraphs are any indication of what may be coming during this difficult time, I don’t know what to think. I know that this may even be several days old and the actors may be starting to go after us now. The fact that an article like this is getting out is a good thing. Only time will tell what will happen.
