I’ve been asked about what is going on in Tik Tok land. this CNET article entitled: TikTok: For you, it’s fun, but for Trump and lawmakers, it’s a security threat goes in to great detail about what is going on including the reported rumor that Microsoft may be buying this troubled app. There are articles reguarding the buying of this app, and they’re linked within this article.
According to Michael in Indiana, they have until August 15th to make a deal, or the rumor is that the app will be banned in the United States.
If they are that much of a threat, just ban it and be done with it.

I usually don’t bring trump into this but this is again another personal trump war thing against china.
There will probably be ways around this junk.
Getting sick of this constant childish battle.
China couldn’t care less about it and have said as much.
I don’t use the service and will never do so.
Everything can be abused and politics has no place on the free world.
The net mirrors the own world, but its also not the real world.
If you want to get more enemies, just bann another load of people and you will get em.
More piracy, more terrorists, more attacks, I bet you all my life savings that the us has or has had at least a partly responsibility in most if not all of them even starting.
I mean before it was england in the early part of last century but now its america.
I don’t say to much because I don’t think politics should ever come in between the online and offline world more than its allready done.
Whenever the 2 worlds meet its violent.
So I will just say I have a real dislike and grave concern for what is going on, and who is doing it.
It shouldn’t happen, more drama means more war.
The fighters are giants.
We are the people squashed.
Some will fight back.
All we will do is kill more people.
The giants won’t notice and continue fighting.
I have no issues with giants fighting themselves in fact its why they leave us alone for the most part, but that stray boulder flung our way does hurt a lot.
And for the last 5 or so years its made little sence.
Ever since the 2001 terror attacks started probably by mistakes made 20-30 years ago, its caused a lot of rifts.
Thhe battle goes on but its like the giants are unaware of us in the middle of their battle.
My message, is stop fighting, or fight some place else.
For some of us the world is so dammaged the net is the only semi clear world to be in.
It can be a dangerous place of course but along with the laws against spam and such, we should have a way to keep the real world out of the net or as much of it as is possible.
Back in 1996-2000 even to 2002 the net was a happy place.
Over the next few years it had a little more drama in it but in 2012 and on its become a battlezone.
Its still largely peacefull but there is trouble and its not all of it made by the net itself.
