REEvil or Sodinokibi is blamed for JBS attack, plenty more to read here too

In a recent article, it was mentioned that JBS’s operations in Colorado, Canada and Australia were affected but didn’t mention who was responsible for it. According to an article I also read today called FBI blames REvil gang for JBS ransomware hack as global meat supplier gets back to work the REEvil gang is named.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin does make a point that since they didn’t break the law in Russia, there is nothing that Russia can do to prosecute them for. We do not have an extradition treaty with Russia, so other means such as picking up these actors once they leave Russia is always an option.

According to this article, JBS resumed operation as of Wednesday, June 2, after a dip in stock price. The JBS company provides one-fifth of the meat supply in the U.S. says the article. They are the parent company to Aberdeen Black, Great Southern, and Pilgrim’s.
