OK, so this was in the headlines in Sans News Bites for Friday, and now it is time to find the article that talks about this. Tulsa police say 18,000 files are leaked after Conti ransomware hack is the article coming from Cyberscoop.
This has not been the first city, and it definitely won’t be the last to pay or have involvement in the ransomware problem that has plagued lots of different places from around the world.
Names, birth dates and drivers license data of residents are possibly pilfered now. And, the article indicates that if you had contact of any kind before and up to May 2021, you should possibly be on the lookout of potential issues.
