Russia’s Sandworm hackers attempted a third blackout in Ukraine was just read and quite interesting. Seems like thi worm wants to continue to cause havoc, yet it seems to be targeting Ukraine’s power systems. I guess from what I’m reading, this particular article talks about potential attacks, but does talk about others in the past too. Links are given to other information, so you might want to check this out.
We know there was one in 2016, and there was a second, but the third is what this talks about. Better check this out. We should be aware in case something happens to us in the states.
I do know there was a power outage affecting us yesterday morning for 15 minutes. I was curious since it affected a large area, according to the police scanner. Never did find out what was going on, didn’t find coverage of it.
