Microsoft patch Tuesday, Time to make sure you’re as up-to-date as opossible

Hello everyone, welcome to Patch Tuesday, the time of the tonth where patching is part of the echosystem.

As part of the news you’ll be reading, Microsoft will be deciding that they’ll temporarily change their mind on blocking scripts and other malicious content from running in word and other office documents. There really isn’t a good reason, except that Microsoft said they’ve gotten some negative reports on why this is a bad thing.

Microsoft made it impossible to find the unblock button on documents that were deemed safe by the sender. I think its time that Microsoft make a firm decision and stay with it.

Besides that, there are multiple zero-days that are in the wild and there are links to the CVE designations within Brian’s article.
