Company says: “This isn’t our data”

I read and we talked on a recent podcast of news about the article It Might Be Our Data, But It’s Not Our Breach which came from Krebs on Security.

While the company AT&T may claim they didn’t have a breach, and it could well have been coming from somewhere else, its important to do a thorough investigation of the matter before you come out and make these claims.

While it seems like this article states they have done this, I really question it, as well as my co-host, because of the fact that there was an apparent breach that was a “possible inside job” according to what I found out in a clubhouse room.

Whatever that “inside job” was, they never told the public about it, so when this came up, I wonder what’s going on at the company?
