Did TikTok get hacked, or did they not?

So, TikTok I think got lucky here. One of our list members, Armando, sent this to us and even Nick said there probably wasn’t much to this.

I aught to hand it to Nick, he’s picked this up rather quickly.

For those who haven’t see, the article is TikTok Denies Data Breach Reportedly Exposing Over 2 Billion Users’ Information and it comes from the Hacker News.

I don’t think that the Hacker News is a bad source, as I think this is good reporting right here.

I’m not exactly sure what to think, seeing that TikTok has been in the news for some time about their policies, and possibly their procedures. In this case, based on what I read from the security experts mentioned, it seems like its a possibility that Bite Dance will be lucky here and know that it could be that mixed bag.
