Have students in your life? There are scams targeting them

Hello evryone,

Scams come in many different ways, they used to come via email first, but now can come in voice calls, text messages or even social media.

Today, I just read an article that talks about the student forgiveness program and scams surrounding it.

I’m also going to put this up on emailhostsecurity.com’s resources page. Because it can come through multiple ways, I feel that this should go there.

The better business bureau here in the United States has gotten multiple reports of these scams targeting students, and the situation is not good.

The fact is, actors have gone so far as to get he student’s FASFA information, and FASFA is something that is out there that allows students toget aid for paying theirrr bills like book bills and other bills asit comes to schooling.

The article is written by Charlie at komando and is titled Warn the students in your family: Data leak + student loan scam and I hope it finds you wanting to read it and pass it along to those students.
