As I work to try and catch up the blog with some of what I’ve been reading, we’ll continue with the fact that Russia will stop at nothing. In an article titled NSA cyber director warns of Russia digital assaults on global energy sector which is a Cyber Scoop article, we learn that Russia is still up to no good.
If the war that Russia started against Ukraine is anything to be concerned about, we should be soon if it hasn’t started already.
The problem is, Russia, not necessarily just Moscow can launch anything they want. I’m not saying that they’re the only ones mind you, but Russia has been known to do things. Besides Russia, we’ve really got to worry about China. Just look at what is happening with TikTok.
We’ve published a recent article on how to use TikTok safely, but this Russian article and the TikTok article remind me of China articles I used to read and publish as the technology archives before I turned it in to the technology podcast.
Under the tech podcast and moniker, I try to publish things tht I might have comments on and this might be one.
If someone like Rob Joyce is worried about what Russia can do, why aren’t we sounding the alarm about what China can do? We’re learning that there is a slight percent of the Chinese government in Bite Dance, which means they can compel them to turn over anything they want, on anybody they wish, including U.S. citizens if they wish. If not U.S. citizens, any other citizen they want to know about that uses their app.
While the article at hand talks about the global energy issue that Russia can pose, we can’t forget about anyone else that may want to do the same thing. Who says that Russia couldn’t tell someone else to do it while they sit back and deny any of this? China and Russia have been known to deny anything they feel like, and I still don’t trust both nations.
Rob, besides being concerned about Russia, I’d start looking at China and what they’re doing, especially since they’re in Bite Dance and TikTok.
If it isn’t TikTok, what other hands do China have in dealing when it comes to tech? Could they have a hand in our iPhones at some point since they get shipped from China? I know this, thanks to a buddy of mine who orderedone and told me about its delays leaving the country.
I’m letting you all read the article, but others need to be worried about too, whether it is the power grid or our tech as a whole.
