Bluetooth being a problem? Not unless you don’t know what connects to it

There is an article out here from komando staff about bluetooth. Its titled The simple but dangerous mistake you make with your phone every day which should be read.

While I can see the benefit of this article, and i do find it valuable, I would want to say that you should evaluate your circumstances before turning off bluetooth.

Mauybe if I were gone all day, and I knew I’d be coming back late, I could in fact turn off bluetooth, unless I’m using my air pods to listen to things.

I never have had strange requests, and I know what my bluetooth has.

It has my lock, my air pods, and my two keyboards.

The key is to know what belongs to you and what doesn’t. The advice in this article is sound and worth reading. It isn’t a problem in itself, just like anything else.

Stay safe. Stay informed. Stay well.

  1. Hmph.
    Anything can be a problem.
Yeah a lot of trackers, covid, programs, etc connect to whatever.
Now if I am going long distance I turn it off actually turn off all networks if I need to be going far away.
I have never had an issue but you can always hide yourself.
Of course if you drive a car or need it and lets face it 99.9% of us need it then yeah that.
However knowing what you have is one thing.

You can hide your network if not sure.
Now saying all this I do have one aunt that doesn’t use the phone much because of radiation with people holding it close to their heads all the time.
That may be a problem but bluetooth can fix that some.
The same aunt thinks the signal from the net is going to kill her because of all the wires.
I do think half of her fears do have a truth to them.
We humans spend far to much time on their electronics and some are addicted.
Its dammaging eyes on kids, etc.
Its hard to pull away, even I try to not use the net all day.
I always try to assign all my serious work to the morning then the rest of the time I let it go.
