Phishlabs has more on DMARC quaranteen vs reject

Last night, before I ended up falling asleep which I didn’t intend to do, I saw an article that covers DMARC in a different light. We posted the beginning of this series, search dmarc on the blog and you’ll find it.

This article is titled DMARC Quarantine vs. DMARC Reject: Which Should You Implement? which might be looked at by people setting this up.

While running on none, which was suggested in the last article is good to start, I think my suggestion would be to run on quaranteen and let people decide what is Spam or not.

The problem with this is the increasing attack surface where users may be tricked in to clicking links and they nay not know they got duped. This is why at some point, you aught to make sure to switch it to reject to protect your domain and brand.

I’d be curious on this series and will look forward on the next one in it.

As a side note, we are continuing to look in to screen readers and what they have to deal with the increasing links that say click here and the possibility of them being malicious.

After I have everything, I’ll go ahead and get a guide together with what I have and add it to our blogroll and pages.

Thanks for reading, learning and of course participating with us. We appreciate it!
