In this Mac Rumors article i’m about to link, we’re learning that Facebook and its properties including Instagram will be charging to give you a verification badge. Whatsapp is not mentioned here, just Facebook and Instagram.

Since I have my name here on Facebook and there are others with my name although different initials, don’t know how much that will be, but I know I don’t have an instagram account.
