Phone Scammers using AI to trick users

I don’t remember if we covered something like this, and if we did, this is another article.

Before you panic, it might be an AI voice on the phone and not a relative in danger is the article and I found it interesting.

The thing is, this article could be telling a true story about someone right now besides the story it tells.

With so many phone calls that people get, its hard to tell who is on the other end of the phone.

This tells the story of a couple claiming to be their grandsonwho was asking for money.

This isn’t the only type of thing they could ask for, but its the most common. Here is the blog post which I blogged talking about the Washington Post article.

I believe I may have sent this Washington post article to Kim on Twitter when I read it, and I believe they link to the same story but I’m not sure.

As I say, its better to post multiple copies, maybe different views of things than none at all.

What did you think of this or the original Washington post article I link to in my prior post? Feel free to contact me at any time.

Thanks so much for participating with us!
