Do you use Venmo? This setting allows users to see everything you spend money on

I wouldn’t call this necessarily a security risk, but my question is why Venmo did this to begin with?

According to a Komando article titled Use Venmo? Here’s what secrets people discovered thanks to the payment app posted on the 17th, they updated their app.

When that update occurred, all transactions are made visible as found out by researchers. One boy sent a girl money for certain things and one girl sent money to another boy.

By going in to your settings, making transactions private, you’ll make your account more secure. This might be more familiar under the blockchain if you deal with Crypto.

I’d be curious if they notified people of this change?
