Two sources say that Wester Digital’s file sharing service is down

Tech Crunch Western Digital says hackers stole data in ‘network security’ breach is the first article and Western Digital discloses network breach, My Cloud service down is the other.

One article says it may be ranspomware, but both articles did not receive comment from WD at press time.

Both articles indicate that the service is down, and there is no way to know how long it’ll be down. Check the status page of your affected service to see any updates.
