More inadvertent sharing by two more health companies

Hello.

Two more health companies who have now removed tracking technology from their web sites indicate they have ben sharing censitive data with advertisors for many years.

Alcohol recovery startups Monument and Tempest shared patients’ private data with advertisers is the article.

I know that cookies can be valuable for log in purposes and the like, but this … this is way to much. How can you associate a photo, name, address, phone number if possible, how much alcohol you drink, and other information to a cookie? That’s the question I’ve got.

This … this is probably why people don’t trust these places after this.

I’ve got no more words for this.
