We continue to see articles on scams going after older people … this one covers things a bit differently

One of my followers boosted this ZD Net article which does a great job about letting people know what to look for.

This article also includes images and examnples through those images. The article is titled Scammers target older people online. Here are the 3 warning signs to watch for and I put this up on EMHS’s web site.

We’ve talked about these before, but seeing this on a different source is quite good. This means the word of what is going on is getting out there.

The headings include:

• 1. Scammers want you to act now

2. Scammers will present a huge problem or reward

• 3. Scammers will pull on your heartstrings
• What to do if your loved one gets scammed

I love seeing articles like these. You can’t go wrong sharing different aspects of this because there are people who don’t know. But I’ll take it a step forward, let’s talk about the new people who don’t know. This is an opportunity for them to learn what to watch for as well.
