There are two vulnerabilities in a product made by PaperCut

If you get a Paper cut, its bad, but this is a company who makes a product or two dealing with printing. Two CVE’s are mentioned which have a 9.8 and 8.2 respectively.

The article is titled PaperCut says hackers are exploiting ‘critical’ security flaws in unpatched servers and I remember hearing about this Monday on The Cyberwire.

If you use this printing software, do your best to patch as quickly as you can, because these ratings are th worst they can be. 10 on the CVE scale is the worst it can be. 9.8 is just as bad and its not normal to see 10s although they can be.

Take a look at this and pass it along accordingly.
