Twitter buys job start up, tens of millions of dollars out the door

Elon Musk has now made a deal with a San Francisco job placement service that used to help people find jobs. No exact amount was given, but the number was in the tens of millions, says the article.

The article is titled Twitter makes its first acquisition with a recruiting startup which could turn interesting.

I would have rather seen Twitter rehire all of those people that helped moderate and make sure that the site and services are accessible to all. By this move, this definitely won’t look good to those hwo must now rely on an app that spits out news that at least I don’t care about on my feed every day.

Also, with the 30 day rolling account closures to add to this, who knows what will happen. I’m not going to say whether its going to be bad or good, I guess we’ll see over time.

Other twitter news was also highlighted within this relatively short article.
