This week on Throwback Saturday Night

Tomorrow on the Security Hour, we’re going to have a topic on the music industry. Apparently, they won a battle, and I believe we blogged this.

Of course they’ll have music during the first hour.

The show is on server 2 of the mix and it starts at 7 CT, 5 PT.

The security hour goes at 8 CT, 6 PT.

Here are the notations of the topic for this week and thanks for listening!

The Music industry is at it again. This has been going on for at least 20 years. Torrent Freak brings us this article.

The article is titled Music Labels Win Legal Battle Against Youtube-dl’s Hosting Provider and it was an interesting read.

I don’t see how this could be completely wrong. Software like Youtube-DL is used for good as well as potentially bad. Forcing the site off the net when it links to the software elsewhere is not the answer. Github took it down but won on appeal. I believe this software will stay like every other piece of software that is used. Your thoughts are welcome.

If you read this for the first time, what do you think will happen? Have you seen any other updates? I haven’t.

Thanks for listening, and we’ll see you tomorrow!
