There’s a three page article I was recently reading as it came across my desk. In fact, it covers policies for what is out there including threads, Mastodon, Twitter and even some I’m not on.
The first page covers threads The second covers Mastodon, Facebook and others. The third covers Twitter.
How Threads’ privacy policy compares to Twitter’s (and its rivals’) is the Ars Technica article that came across my mastodon desk and I found it interesting. Tells me that Mastodon is where we need to be, although other platforms do have their strengths.
Since Threads isn’t ready for us yet, I guess I’m not overly concerned whether the bulk of this community I serve gets on. Maybe Meta will figure it out, maybe it won’t.
I guess we’ll see how this all shakes out.
