This BBC article is quite interesting. It talks about the fact that the drop in advertising revenue started becoming a problem before Elon took over.
I believe the supposed cost cutting he’s done and the API problems as well as him deciding and backtracking that people can’t view tweets as part of articles have turned people including advertisers completely off if not stagnant.
I’ve not used Twitter since the API was closed, although my stuff still gets posted through DLVR which is surprising.
