I read part 2 of the multipart series Brian is covering on the Ashley Madison breach based on the series that was done through Hulu. SEO Expert Hired and Fired By Ashley Madison Turned on Company, Promising Revenge talks about an SEO expert who was to make the site better for search engines.

I get these emails from people who claim that they can do SEO work, but that’s the responsibility of the web developer. While Ashley Madison apparently hired two developers, there are bad SEO practices and good SEO practices. But it goes way beyond these hirings an firings.
