Got a call from Amazon, your bank, or something else? Maybe not so much

I think I saw this on a newsletter, but found the article.

While Kim’s got great advice, I believe she has missed the most important thing. You can log in to your bank or credit institution to determine if a pending charge of the amount they’re claiming is even pending.

Most banks, unless you spend as much as one is claiming, may flag the charge and call you themselves.

The article is titled Watch out for fake calls from Amazon, Apple, Visa, Chase Bank and they could be anyone.

The thing that stuck out at me is the number of numbers that Amazon has supposedly shut down. Did I read this correctly and it was over 15,000 numbers? That’s crazy. Absolutely crazy.
