AlphV claims to be contacting Tipalti’s clients to pay up

Databreaches reported that Tipalti’s clients have recently been contacted as the company has not paid a ransomware demand.

The Databreaches article is titled AlphV claims they have started contacting some of Tipalti’s clients while bleeping computer and their article is titled Tipalti investigates claims of data stolen in ransomware attack which was written several days ago.

The 256GB worth of data reportedly stolen from this company include data from Zip Recruiter, Twitter now known as X, Rocu, Twitch, Godaddy and Canvas.

AlphV is known as Black Cat, and they have apparently taken responsibility for many different attacks. Several of the companies in this story have not been contacted by the gang for any type of payment.
