This is a very lengthy article but late December it was posted.
The article talks about something we’ve covered called pig butchering.

This might be my first exposure to the term, but then we must talk about the 7 domains recently taken down.
The thing I found very interesting about the article we’re talking about today is that three TLD’s are at steak. These TLD’s are:
- .top
- .shop
- .xyz
I knew of a legitimate service that used the .xyz domain which I had used, but then when I went there once, found it was gone. The site is legitimate just the same.
Sean does a great job with this one, so I don’t necessarily need to go in to a whole lot of detail.
There’s a lot linked within this so it’s going to try and debate this one like I’d like.
The article is titled Luring with love, a network of pig butchering “mining” scams robbed millions from victims’ wallets which was a very interesting read.
Its interesting to hear about the crypto used within this discussion, most of which I’m not too familiar with.
