In a different move, EU law indicate that Apple needs to comply and let browsers compete for users and what they want. But this Ars article says that the two competing browsers are not happy. I can actually see their point.
If they ship a browser but are still on Apple’s development kit for browsers, then we’re no safer. This is because we’re all using the same kit that apple then has to fix.
