The Top of the news
It always excites me when we see some good news, and one of the items has that in this section.
- Cyberattacks Target Two Chicago-Area Hospitals
- Synergia: Interpol Operation Takes on Cybercrime
- AnyDesk Forces Passwords Resets After Data Leak
The middle item is great. While only 31 were arrested, 70 more are being investigated. Interpol and Trend Micro have been doing this work for years and we’ve talked about their partnership before. Its interesting to know that more folk were involved. Good work, guys!
The Rest of the news
We have some great news here too, with the 40 year sentence. Here’s the rest.
- Cloudflare Provides More Info on November Breach
- Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Vulnerabilities
- Rust Foundation Receives $1M Grant From Google
- Pennsylvania Courts System Suffers Denial-of-Service Attack
- US Sanctions Iranian Officials Over Critical Infrastructure Cyberattacks
- 40-Year Sentence for Leaking CIA Secrets
40 years for leaking secrets? I bet the guy will get out in half the time. It sends a signal, but this happened in 2016. When I had problems, they wanted to deal with me immediately, whatever that issue is. They didn’t deal with me 10 years from then.
This, is going to get interesting.
