Here’s an update on At&T

AT&T’s botched network update caused yesterday’s major wireless outage is the article title and it may be a few days old.

Yesterday, I did hear a Kin Komando minute that i indicated that it was a botched update.

Posting the news on my bulletin board on Livewire, Michael in Arkansas, formerly Indiana, indicated that there were similar issues I’ve discussed including a botched computer upgrade that took one phone system down, and my working on another machine with someone in the registry. Those are good points, my friend, and thank you.

While I’m happy that there wasn’t a cyberattack against the company, are we ready for a big outage that could possibly be related to an attack?

As we learned earlier, other carriers had issues not necessarily with their networks, but it was because they were trying to communicating with AT&T during the outage, and some phones were reaching out to other networks.

I know the news is a bit old, but we’ll push forward.

The news is coming from Ars Technica which is reliable.
