Chinese hack of governmental officials could have been preventable

CyberNews is reporting that the recent hack of the governmental email could’ve been prevented by Microsoft. Ths U.S. Cyber Safety Review board said that Microsoft did not do enough to prevent the attack and ordered changes.

This contribution came from Roiters, who is known for good tech reporting. They have a full web site with all kinds of news.

This article from Cybernews is titled US cyber board faults Microsoft for Chinese hack of gov officials and it was definitely a very interesting read.

I really don’t like Defender and dispise its use just because I don’t think it actually works. I’ve used Malware Bytes who actually had a webinar on the AT&T attack through facebook, but didn’t realize that it was this morning. But they actually did protect me from things I’ve saved to run through Virus Total. That, I like.

I can’t say the same about defender. In either case of defender I can’t say good things for.

What makes their email more of a target to use than my own email or even Gmail as examples?

Have a look at the article and the comment board awaits you.
