Parental app exposes GPS, more

While I’ve not felt the greatest today, I think i’m doing better enough to go for a meeting, even though I ate a little.

But while I’m here, I decided to look around and found yet another issue that has since been fixed, and luckily this is not within this U.S. territory.

The article Parental control app exposes live GPS locations of kids on internet goes to great lengths to talk about a year old issue which has since been closed.

Things like texts, GPS data, recordings of surroundings and much more were stored for anyone to find.

That’s right, anything that the child did was published on the open Internet. Text messages, specific app data, all kinds of things.

You’ve got to read this one to believe it. Apparently, the company involved has had other issues so this is not their first problem.

Let me know what you think.
