I love the fact that Tim Cook is saying that accessibility matters, and the article from Apple Insider does have some great things here when it comes to Global Accessibility Awareness day and what’s coming in IOS 18.
Innovation is always good, and solving problems is good too.
But Tim, might I remind you and Sarah about the numerous bugs that may be still outstanding in Voice Over and other possible issues I don’t even know about.
I would like to see IOS 18 squash a lot of the outstanding bugs that have been around for years, and even braille bugs too.
While no software is going to be perfect, having a team that can triage these bugs to get them fixed, not to sit there for whenever someone feels like dealing with them.
The Apple Insider article is titled There are a lot of new accessibility features coming in iOS 18 and visionOS 2.0 which should be read.
