This article comes from 404 media. This is yet another arrest, but this time in the way of CSAM material.
This is not your typical CSAM material, this is AI generated CSAM material.
When it comes to sex, each of us like different things. One thing we’re taught is that we can’t go after children. Some may learn this by getting in to legal trouble for doing something wrong like touching or something else, that the law frowns upon.
No matter how we learn about the subject, I never thought there would be a day where AI could generate children in some type of activity.
The article mentions instagram and telegram, and it reminded me of something else I saw on mastodon during this week’s perusal of it.
Besides of it being a group and personal contact management platform, it is also known to be another “dark marketplace.”
The man in the article not only generated the images, but then he sent them to at least one minor. The man, who is named in the article is from Wiscosin in the states.

You know this is interesting where the matrix of vertual meets reality.
We will probably encounter these collisions more than likely on an ongoing basis.
I have many adult things from aliens to unbirth in vertual.
I like the idea of those things happening.
But at the same time I know I am sepperated by reality being its own firewall.
Now were that to blur or fall either virtually or in reality then I have no idea.
virtual issues with ai and how we secure reality as shown in the matrix movies actually could become a concern as the tech develops.
There is probably no real way to completely stop it, my scifi geekness suspects.
So we will have to deal with it while keeping the damage to a minimum which from my geek database may become a tall order.
I guess we just have to keep our eyes facing forward and watch the sector for enemy craft but thats what we have been doing since 2002 or so when the blogsphere activated so there isn’t anything new.
From time to time a stray missile may get through, and as long as we can keep our witts about ourselves I guess thats the only thing we can do.
Thunderbird itself has just gone monthly, and due to my experience with its system in the last one I will stay esr even though firefox has had no issues but who knows.
