Good thing I plan to stick with 10 at least for now. I create my braille files using wordpad, as Word which I have can be iinteresting to use
The article we’re linking to does say that Microsoft did announce this change to wordpad, We blogged about it at the time with a note that tons of us still use it.
I don’t know what the stats are now, but we can’t say we weren’t warned.
This is going to get very interesting.

I believe wordpad is in the store and thats what you are supposed to use.
On the other hand while discontinued jarte is the older wordpad.
I agree with you on 10.
I haven’t seen any real push to upgrade in my line of work.
In fact ever since covid and a lot moving to mastidon and various things, a lot of which are my own internal issues mean I don’t actually want to exist constantly online.
My syncs are still a thing I enjoy for now but maybe those will be tthe next to not be updated.
I have enough chipfiles that I may just not bother.
Thats still up in the air.
The new wordpad access is still up in the air as far as I hear but my info isn’t current.
Cortana, yeah its been languishing for a bit.
I do wander how serious ms is on its ai offering.
Then again while I have a buggy echo dot I am in no real rush to get into ai itself though others are jumping at it.
Guess though when the borg come and approach me in a certain way then maybe I will be attracted.
I’ve got nothing to lose at any rate.
July is my next jump into ai studdy att least that is the plan.
I will finnish this in saying that I may jump to 12 or whatever.
My system has yet to die and when it happens I am still uncertain where I will jump to.
Bar 1 of the family, none of us use 11 even though we can all use it bar myself that is and an aunt.
I guess once drivers stop running for it then maybe.
