Time is ticking for TikTok to give us a U.S. version of the app that is not ran by China. But they of course are denying it.
With the recent find found on the Kim Komando newsletter today, they’re not doing anything to keep people safe.
As reported by Kim, influencers are telling people to drink castor oil to detox and lose weight. blog post How is that even safe to do?
Remember the cooking chicken in cough medicine challenge?
blog post If TikTok U.S. will be trusted, they’ll eventually need to do things to prevent challenges like these listed within. It’ll also need to tell people that do this that they could (key word could) be in trouble because some of these challenges can and have turned deadly.
Kim Komando has talked about these TikTok challenges and you can search these out.
We are not responsible for what China does when it comes to their app, but our apps do not collect everything one does including putting a keylogger in to the app which they deny doing.
TikTok vaguely disputes report that it’s making a US-only app is today’s article talking about what they are trying to supposedly do.
If we see more, we’ll be sure to give you any further updates on this. This, is going to be good and interesting I’m afraid.
