Indonesia and x, formerly known as twitter

There’s an article on CyberNews that says that Indonesia has a strict policy about adult content. They have sent a letter to the company who has not responded as of yet, and probably won’t.

They don’t have to go that far though. I spotted this from Kim Komando, the Digital Goddess. Porn is allowed on X, but you can block it This article talks about the various things that you can do to block what you don’t want to see. There are computer and phone steps within this article.

I understand they’re big social media people, but Twitter won’t change its stance. If they aren’t going to do that, you can block your users’ access to the service at the BGP level similar to other countries like China’s Great Firewall or Russian government outright banning things because they can.
