Senators ask car makers to be investigated by the FTC

For those who are not familiar, the FTC is the Federal Trade Commission.

In an article also coming from Malwarebytes, they talk about the fact that the FTC is now being tasked to investigate manufacturers for their claims of privacy or lack there of.

They link to that Mozilla report we talked about and was widely covered on this blog and linked within this article.

Sounds like the auto makers aren’t changing anything, so I guess we’ll see how it goes as we follow this.
